Volunteer Opportunities
The Living with a Brain Disorder project is an entirely voluntary partnership of interviewers
how conduction questioning sessions, interviewees who courageously express their important
stories, and ambassadors who publicize the project and attract partnership.
Volunteer as an Interviewer
The Living with a Brain Disorder project is seeking interviewers that are capable of respectfully
asking questions and recording answers, and comfortable in communicating with afflicted
individuals with neurological and/or mental health disorders. Interviewers may conduct interview
sessions in a variety of mediums; however, all will be transcribed (into the written word).
The interview will have the full support of the Project Director and GNIF administration.
Volunteer as an Interviewee
The Living with a Brain Disorder project is seeking individuals (or health care professionals
in contact with individuals) that have neurological and/or mental health disorders. He/she
is interviewed either in person, via a distance, or may complete the questionnaire his/her-self
online.

Volunteer as an Ambassador
The Living with a Brain Disorder project is seeking ambassadors to publicize the project,
especially with the aid of government (e.g. local, statewide, and national departments
of health and education) and other organizations. It will involve corresponding with
agencies, centers, and their administrators to establish partnerships and opening the
doors for resources (including access to afflicted individuals, medical personnel,
printing partners for print media, medical interviewers, and the like). If you are interested
